Detail

 Lithium triborate (LBO) crystal is an excellent nonlinear optical crystal belonging to the orthorhombic crystal system. It is currently one of the most widely used frequency doubling devices. It features good optical homogeneity within the crystal, a relatively wide transmission band, high matching efficiency and high laser damage threshold. It can be used for frequency doubling and tripling of lasers such as Nd:YAG and Ti:Sapphire to generate green and ultraviolet wavelengths, such as frequency doubling of Nd:YAG lasers for medical and industrial applications, frequency doubling of high-power Nd:YAG and Nd:YLF lasers for scientific research and military purposes, and frequency doubling and tripling of Nd:YAP lasers. It performs well in optical parametric oscillators (OPO) and optical parametric amplifiers (OPA), capable of generating tunable laser outputs, and is widely applied in laser technology, spectroscopy, optical communication and other fields.
