PRODUCT
Detail
A polarizing beam splitter (PBS) is an optical component that separates unpolarized light into two orthogonal, linearly polarized beams: one transmitted (P-polarized) and one reflected (S-polarized). These components are essential in various optical systems, including those requiring polarization-based separation of light or for isolating specific polarization state. Cube beamsplitters are constructed using two typically right angle prisms . The hypotenuse surface of one prism is coated with PBS coating, and the two prisms are cemented together so that they form a cubic shape.
